Keely Badger

Keely is a M.A. student in Globalization Studies from Dartmouth College, with a B.A. from the University of San Diego in Cultural Anthropology and Political Science. Her recent scholarship has focused on the role of international organizations and their efforts to champion law and diplomacy around universal human rights, peacekeeping and humanitarian relief, particularly the politics and practice of youth leaders at the United Nations Climate Change Summits and General Assembly conferences each year. She has also conducted human rights and international development research at Oxford's History, Politics and Society Summer Program, looking at sustainable development and sacred economies as emerging and fundamental human rights in the global age. Currently Keely is employed at Human Rights Watch, the world’s leading international non-governmental organization, and is based out of the Los Angeles office in the Development and Outreach Division.
